Washington | October 14, 2009 - We are proud that the men and women of Dover Air Force Base are being recognized for their outstanding performance by winning the Air Mobility Command's 2010 Commander-in-Chief's Annual Award for Installation Excellence.  With this award, Dover Air Force Base will receive the AMC trophy, a $100,000 award and the enthusiastic congratulations from a proud community.  To have this achievement so soon after receiving the 2008 Installation Excellence Award is a tremendous honor; demonstrating once again Dover's ability to exceed expectations.  We wish all the men and women of Dover AFB the best of luck as they now compete against other bases for the recognition as the best base in the Air Force and a $1 million prize.
